The Technical University of Munich has reduced elevator use and given students a fun and quick way to escape class, a four story slide. True cool for school.
This is the “mobile market,” debuted by Dave Jackson of Enterprise Farm in 2010. The project began with the purchase of a ‘95 Chevy Bluebird once used by a military traveling band and has led to improved access to fresh food in Whately, Massachusetts. Regular stops are made in food desert areas including retirement homes.

“Middle Housing” refers to housing types in between single family detached houses on large lots and high density, high rise residential buildings. Middle housing allows for densities high enough to support walking and transit. They serve as an intermediary between the high density core of a city and the low density suburbs.

Willow dome. A living structure that shades in the summer and lets heat through in the winter. Plant your own! It’s easy, place a willow branches in water and let them sprout. Place in ground in a circle slightly bigger then you want your dome to be. Let them grow; remember willows love water. Once they are big enough weave there ends. Enjoy your new.. living room!
